Account & Data Deletion: Aura Bionics

Which app?

Aura Bionics Inc. publishes multiple apps. Each handles data differently. Pick your app:

  • Aura includes user accounts, AI history, biometric data. Full deletion process below.
  • Aura Hydrate is fully anonymous, with no server account. Uninstall equals deletion.

Aura

1. Overview

This section explains how you can delete your Aura account, or alternatively delete specific data (such as AI conversation history) while keeping your account active.

2. Delete Your Account (Full Deletion, In-App)

  1. Open the Aura Bionics app
  2. Go to Settings
  3. Tap 'Delete Account'
  4. Confirm your choice

Your account and all associated data will be permanently deleted within 30 days.

3. Delete Your Account (Web / If You Uninstalled the App)

Email privacy@aurabionics.com from the email address associated with your account, subject line 'Delete My Account'. We will verify your identity and process deletion within 30 days.

4. What Data Is Deleted (Full Account Deletion)

  • Profile information (name, email, user ID)
  • All facial scan photos and biometric data
  • Health and fitness records
  • Chat history with Eve and Atlas AI
  • Inner Circle messages and connections
  • Voice recordings and transcripts
  • Device identifiers

5. Partial Data Deletion (Reset AI Memory)

If you want to keep your account but remove your AI conversation history and 30-day context, you can:

  1. Open the Aura Bionics app
  2. Go to Settings
  3. Tap 'Reset AI Memory'
  4. Confirm

This permanently deletes:

  • All chat sessions with Eve and Atlas
  • Your 30-day AI context history
  • Personalization memory

Your account, profile, health records, scan history, and other data remain intact.

6. What Data Is Retained (After Full Deletion)

For legal, regulatory, and security reasons, the following may be retained in a limited and anonymized form:

  • Payment and transaction records (7 years for tax compliance)
  • Abuse and fraud prevention signals (hashed form)
  • Aggregated, non-identifying analytics

Retention period: 30 days grace period, after which all identifiable data is permanently and irreversibly removed.

Aura Hydrate

1. Overview

Aura Hydrate is a fully anonymous app. We do not create user accounts, do not collect names, emails, or any personally identifying information. All hydration logs, streaks, glass settings, and progress live entirely on your device.

2. Delete Your Data (Uninstall the App)

Because nothing is stored on our servers, simply uninstalling the Aura Hydrate app permanently and immediately deletes all of your data. There is no separate cleanup, no email request, no waiting period.

  1. Long-press the Aura Hydrate icon on your device
  2. Select 'Remove App' (iOS) or 'Uninstall' (Android)
  3. Confirm

All hydration logs, streaks, settings, and locally cached data are erased.

3. Subscription Cancellation

Uninstalling the app does not cancel an active Aura Hydrate Pro subscription. Subscriptions are managed by Apple and Google, not by Aura Bionics. To cancel:

  • iOS: Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions → Aura Hydrate → Cancel
  • Android: Google Play → Profile → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions → Aura Hydrate → Cancel

4. Anonymous Telemetry

If anonymous telemetry (crash reports, anonymous usage analytics) is enabled in a future version, those reports contain no identifiers tied to you and cannot be reverse-linked. They are retained in aggregate form only.
